My Lord,

Referring to Your Lordship's Despatch No. 186 of the 30th August last, I have the honour to request that the Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University may be informed that the Examining Board in England of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Universities of Edinburgh and Durham have recognised the course of Laboratory Instruction given by Dr. Hunter in connection with the examinations for Diplomas in Public Health.

2. It is hoped that in these circumstances the University of Cambridge may see their way to grant similar recognition.
